Sammy is a haircolorist who grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Moving here over 10 years ago, he likes to call himself a Mainer! Sammy graduated from Spa Tech in 2016, and began training as a Color Specialist, working diligently to become a Master of Balayage because that style was very popular when he began in the industry. Since then, Sammy has also focused on foil highlighting, while overall blonding is his specialty. Sammy has taken numerous L’Oreal Professional Color classes with a variety of educators. Attending the L’Oreal Pro Academy in NYC is his favorite. He likes to describe himself as an old soul with a new mind. He is extremely creative, craves knowledge and loves the process of learning. While Sammy never thought this would be his career growing up, he is now truly inspired to be working in this industry. Sammy truly wants all of his clients to be able to relax, feel pampered and leave with gorgeous hair! When outside of the studio, Sammy has a passion for cinematography, owning his own filmmaking business where he gets to capture and create wedding films, commercials, and music videos. When Sammy is not working he loves to relax with his Siamese cat Sandra watching a good TV show/movie, listening to music and in the summer months he loves to camp, hike and go swimming. Sammy wears shorts every day of the year (a true Mainer), and prides himself on being fun and silly, yet focused and authentic.
