Rylee Love is a professional freelance makeup artist who’s originally from Southern Maine. She’s been passionate about the beauty industry and all things creative since a young age. Growing up with a mom who’s a hairstylist, whom she got her inspiration from, Rylee was immersed into the beauty industry early on and loves being surrounded by all things creative and artistic.
Rylee has years of makeup experience where she started her education at Emerson College for Bobbi Brown Makeup Artistry in 2017. She then continued to New York for advanced airbrush training with Temptu Makeup. Afterwards she attended cosmetology school at SpaTech where she received her cosmetology license in the spring of 2019. While in school she worked at Sephora as a Licensed Beauty Advisor. Her passion for client service and getting to work with people was shown in her makeup applications and daily client interactions. During this time Rylee started a thriving bridal business in Portland which led to her working closely with professional photographers in the tv and film industry. In January 2020 Rylee got the opportunity to do makeup and hair on a movie which was filmed in Southern Maine along the waterfront. Because of this she continued her education by moving to Los Angeles and attending Make-Up Designory (MUD), where she was enrolled in the Master Makeup Artistry Program graduating spring of 2022. Throughout this course she expanded her knowledge and techniques in advanced airbrush makeup, beauty/editorial, tv/film, and special makeup effects application. She has since moved back to Maine to continue her freelance makeup business. She specializes in soft glam for bridal, photoshoots, 1:1 lessons and all types of special events. Whether it’s a dramatic full coverage look or enhancing one’s natural beauty, Rylee’s goal is to bring your dream makeup look into reality!

Trials are optional but highly recommended for all brides. I recommend booking at least 2 months prior to the wedding day to be able to accommodate any changes to make for a seamless experience.

A 1 on 1 personalized natural / everyday makeup look with hands on or a walkthrough lesson. This package includes specific areas that you’d like to learn for an everyday look i.e. contouring, highlighting, eyebrow filling in, an eyeshadow look, etc! *I’ll have my pro kit but please bring your own makeup and brushes in order to discuss and go over what products are recommended for you.
Makeup Lesson #2
2 hours
A 1 on 1 personalized full glam / going out makeup look with hands on or a walkthrough lesson. This package includes more advanced techniques and options for specific areas that you’d like to learn to enhance your look. Great option to learn for an event, going out, or any special occasion to get glam! *I’ll have my pro kit but please bring your own makeup and brushes in order to discuss and go over what products are recommended for you.
