Rijah graduated from the Holistic Massage Program at Spa Tech Institute in 2010. She has worked in salons, health clubs, top resorts, and private practices for 6 years. Rijah specializes in a technique that uses your own muscles in resistance to reset their original position. This unique therapy is often used by Osteopaths and Physical Therapists to provide the most effective restoration of muscular function. She began her advanced training in 2005 with Zero Balancing. She often blends Zero Balancing seamlessly into a session resulting in significant improvement in the structural alignment as well as improved overall systemic functioning of the body. Her continued fascination with the body is what drives her to seek alternative ways of exploring the mind body connection, and how we move through the world. Rijah is a mom, bodyworker, dancer, circus creator, painter, writer, teacher, and one woman show! She lives in Portland with her teenager, and their tiny dog who dances for cheese. Rijah enjoys dancing, swimming, beach bumming, and creating theatrical performances.
