Starting as a salon receptionist at the age of 15, Jessica soon discovered her passion for the beauty industry. She attended Cosmetology School at Spa Tech Institute in 2008 and followed with a 2 year apprenticeship training under a Vidal Sassoon trained stylist in the heart of Portland’s Arts District.
Jessica has attended many advanced education classes at the ARROJO Academy in New York City and is also a Goldwell Color Specialist. Jessica’s true passion as an artist comes out when she is painting hair. She loves all hair color, ranging from natural lived in colors using balayage technique to bold fashion colors such as coppers and reds. Creative cutting is another talent of hers along with cutting curly textured hair. Jessica also specializes in texture services including the ARROJO American Wave and Goldwell Keratin Smoothing Treatment.
“As an artist, I make it a point to constantly work on improving my skills, learning new techniques and keeping myself up to date on current trends. One of the most rewarding things about my career is making my clients feel uplifted after leaving my chair. Our hair is the crown we wear every day. My goal is for all of my clients to look in the mirror and love their hair.”
When Jessica is not working, you can find her in nature. She enjoys camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and spending time with friends, family and her Border Collie, Viola!
