Jalim is a skilled and passionate skin care and massage therapy professional who completed training at Green Mountain Institute for Integrative Therapy in 1999, graduated with honors from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2004 and continued to expand her practice by studying skin care in 2010 through a 1000 hour apprenticeship program with Macomber. Jalim also holds a B.A. in Dance and Social Science from Bennington College. Jalim is dedicated to continual learning, researching and being knowledgeable about ingredients, conditions, modalities and the industry’s latest trends. She is a professional member of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB), American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP).
Jalim’s work as a massage therapist uses her training in pre/postnatal, hot stone, spa treatments, Ayurvedic treatments, Aromatouch, swedish, deep tissue/neuromuscular therapy, sports, Shiatsu and integrative massage to create a custom treatment to meet each client’s goals. She blends multiple modalities into each session to help facilitate transformation within the body, releasing chronic muscle patterns while promoting relaxation and health.
As an aesthetician, Jalim focuses on educating and helping individuals find balance with their personal skin care routine. She uses result driven products and attention to detail to create relaxing and productive skin care treatments. Jalim has had training in a wide variety of product lines including Naturopathica, Intraceuticals, ProFacial, G.M.
