Micayla Andersen

Micayla is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in cosmetic dermatology and is a New England native. She has spent the past 8 years in New York City and now splits her time between Portland, Maine and New York, where she continues to work per diem at a prestigious dermatology office on Park Avenue. She is a graduate of Columbia University, where she earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Nursing. Micayla began practicing aesthetic medicine in 2016 and throughout the years, she has trained under and worked alongside some of the top dermatologists and plastic surgeons in the world. She has performed thousands of laser and injectable treatments, some of which, on the most well-known faces, including Oscar winners and top models. Micayla prides herself on taking a holistic approach to wellness and aesthetics as she uses her artistic ability to delicately enhance her patients’ natural beauty. Her work on clinical trials and the application of cutting-edge technology has enabled her to offer state-of-the-art therapies to patients. Her mission is to create a one-stop destination to help patients achieve beautiful, healthy-looking skin that empowers them to feel more powerful, confident, and comfortable with their appearance. Outside of work, Micayla has two cats, loves yoga, pilates and going to the beach.
