Marley, a hair cutting specialist, has taken over 50 classes with brands like L’Oreal, Kerastase, and Mizani to name a few. Marley’s journey into the industry began during her childhood when she started to have a fascination with the art of hair. Originally from Central Maine, she now calls Portland home. Marley graduated from Spa Tech in 2020, having discovered a profound passion for cutting, prompting her specialization in this area. Before venturing to her own studio, she served as a cutting specialist in downtown Portland. Marley loves to customize each haircut to suit the texture of her clients’ hair and their desired look and needs. She excels in crafting styles that compliment everyday wear, such as wash-and-go hairstyles. She is talented with curly hair styles, blunt textured bobs, and working with fine hair. Marley takes her time on consultations and listens to her clients’ wants and desires for style and maintenance. Marley’s goal is for her clients to be able to confidently style their hair every day. Outside of the studio, Marley finds joy in spending time with her partner and dog. She loves to read, enjoy the outdoors, and explore the diverse culinary scene that Portland has to offer.
