Kayla is a passionate hairstylist who aims for every client to feel special during their appointment. While working with her clients to give them a style that they love, she is mindful of the amount of maintenance and upkeep to accommodate her client’s lifestyles. Kayla has been working as a stylist since 2014, finding her love for makeup first. Growing up having cystic acne, Kayla started to experiment with makeup, which helped her feel good about herself. She was inspired to help others feel the same way. Kayla specializes in lived-in colors, hair extensions and makeup. Kayla is certified with Bellami and Invisible Bead Hair Extension methods. She has expanded her education by taking advanced classes with Redken, Masters of Balayage and Moroccan Oil. Kayla was originally born in Portland, moving to Machias for most of her childhood, and then returning to Scarborough for High School. When Kayla is not in her studio she loves spending time with her fiancé and 3 fur babies.
